Nishith Desai Associates Mumbai acted for Tiger Global and DST Global, which invested $30m (Rs 200 crore) in a series C round in home rental company NestAway, which was advised by K Law.

K Law acted for NestAway and existing investor IDG Ventures with a team led by Bangalore partner Abhinav Singh with senior associate Puneet Parihar and associate Keertan Sreekumar.

Tiger Global also drew in long-standing international and US legal adviser Gunderson Dettmer in New York and DST's non-Indian law advice was led by New York-based general counsel Breck Hancock and assistant GC Matthew Brush.

"NestAway manages a homeowner’s rental property throughout the rental life cycle, from showing the house to a prospective tenant and closing the rental agreement to collecting rent on the owner’s behalf and assisting the tenant and owner during move-out. The company charges a small percentage of the monthly rent it generates from the house as commission," reported Mint .

The deal closed around the end of May.
