ELP, Samvad on Helion's first $6m infusion into Fresh Foods start-up

Samvad Partners advised Helion Venture Partners in investing Rs 35 crore ($5.7m) in ID Fresh Foods, which was advised by Economic Laws Practice (ELP).

ELP partner Suhail Nathani, associate partner Vinayak Burman, senior associate Archana Khosla and associate Trishna Sharma acted for the company, with Samvad partner Siddharth Raja, senior associate Sindhushri Badarinath, and associates Varsha Aithala and Pranav Raju acting for Helion.

This is the first round of institutional fund raising by the South-Indian ready-to-cook food company which sells Rs 7 crore worth of preservative-free food products in eight Indian cities each month, reported Yourstory.
