my AIR rank is 1087 , which NLU will i get? Any guess
Outside chance of HNLU, RGNUL, RMLNLU through unfilled vacancies.
No chance of RMLNLU. A slight probability of RGNUL. NUALS, NLUO and HNLU. Wait for the last list and vacancies of HNLU. People with rank of about 1500 get through to HNLU on the basis of their CLAT rank.
1. Placements and pay packages
2. Quality of infrastructure (whether AC classrooms, nice hostel rooms, food etc)
3. Location (where in the city, remote area, safety etc)
4. Quality of faculty and teaching
5. Campus life
Some videos will be nice.
Nothing wrong in it. However he has fast forgotten what got his website the initial attention - law students.

On the guide to NLUs, it's a very labour intensive project that we simply don't have the resources for.
But it is on our wishlist of things we hope to get done one of these days...
Anyways, it is one out of many stories you have done in the last month(s). Am not saying you have totally given up on stories related to law-schools which will affect his/her time in the institution. What am saying is that you have moved a significant part of your attention elsewhere.
Further, am not sure that the 'labour intensive project' is wholly true. It depends on what you have in mind while starting the project. What a lot of people need at this time is information - basic information - about relevant choices.
NLU-D or Law school, or maybe Law school or NALSAR; or NUJS/NLU J/NLU-D etc
There is more than enough information on these unsolvable questions. However, it would be great if you could collate it for prospective students. If you can add your personal unbiased views w.r.t situations that you are aware of it could be great.
The thing is that is not impossible for you work on this line, but that you don't really have the motivation for the same as of this moment. Hopefully you take this as a constructive point marking an outsiders view on the direction your website has taken and not rubbish it by throwing around 10 other stories you may have covered in the last couple of months.
Look, here's a law school story for example :) www.legallyindia.com/Law-schools/nalsar-increases-batch-size-by-50-to-120-students-to-meet-bci-norms
Due to small size of team at LI sometimes things go in waves and the last few months have been dominated by Cam-Sam and BCI and the articles we're doing for Mint, so there's been less time to spend on law schools.
In case anyone's interested, when LI started, it was intended to be purely about law firms. Then very quickly I realised that there were a lot of interesting stories in the legal education space and we covered a lot of cool, fun and important stories, and we'll keep doing so whenever something interesting comes up...
Also, given you were that far back in a LLM entrance exam that hardly takes a weeks preparation, maybe you shouldn't be pursuing a Masters degree.
Kyunki, yeh pyaas hai badi. Pepsi! Ahaha!
Cut-offs are bound to fluctuate but that should give you an idea.
Option-2: You really got that rank! - Best suggestion I could give, without knowing whether or not you can afford to take a drop or not, is that you drop and take coaching if you are serious about doing law. Otherwise, find something else that appeals to you.

What might be interesting is to be build public opinion for having a centralized CLAT Secretariat, with permanent staff, instead of the rolling-method adopted for conducting the exam as of now. What this will do is that experience shall build amongst the employees over the years. Experience right from the top (administrative management) through the middle (paper-setting/academicians involved) to the bottom (clerical staff). This shall bring down the complaints people have with the conducting body every year. The law schools don't do this because they have a weird fund sharing scheme where the organizing institution gets the biggest share of the pie. The politics of (legitimately earned) money comes in the way of administrative efficiency here.
So we need is public opinion. However, who are interested stakeholders that will fight this battle?
- Next years hopefuls? - they don't have a clue of whether the system is broken.
- This years wronged? - na, they won't be given correct information on what is wrong. Even if they are and are asked to fight for next students 99% shall back-down as they won't reap the crop for which the seeds shall have to be sown by them.
Thus, this problem will not get solved.
Is there a chance for NLUJ, NUJS or GNLU?
RMLNLU and RGNUL for sure too.
