Nirma University launches its first national moot

Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad has launched its first national moot court competition, the ILNU National Moot Court Competition. The event is scheduled to be held on 26th and 27th March, 2011.

The moot problem and rules were released on the Institute’s website earlier today.

Rhishikesh Dave, Academic Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Law, Institute of Law, Nirma University said that the problem runs around procedural law, such as the law of evidence and includes issues of cyber law, diplomatic immunity and recognition of state under international law.

The competition will be organised in newly-built state-of-the-art moot court hall at the institute, he added.

The ILNU moot is not currently part of the Mooting Premier League 2.
