Nirma beats Nalsar in BCI moot & bags best speaker

The team from Institute of Law, Nirma University Ahmedabad comprising of Arpit Singhvi (speaker), Ronith Joy (speaker) and Vaibhav Kumar (researcher) has won the 30th Bar Council of India Moot Court Competition held from 7 to 9 November at Lloyd Law College, Noida.

Nirma bested NALSAR in the finals of the tier 3 moot which was adjudicated by a bench of five sitting high court judges.

Nirma’s Arpit Singhvi was awarded the Best Speaker award in the competition. However, this time BCI did not have any award for best memorial or best researcher.

NUJS Kolkata and NLIU Bhopal were the other two semi finalists in the competition.

NLIU retains its second spot in the league while ILNU climbed up from 17th to the 5th spot in the MPL table.
