Also, the percentage of students placed is dismal for Jindal. I'd be worried if I spent 35 L only to have the same number of offers as CNLU or NLUO ( Despite having double the number of students they have)
Overall, the NIRF ranking was right in placing NLUD as 2, as NLUD edges out NALSAR (and others) in faculty and location. What Nalsar is known for is a strong human rights focus and left-wing orientation (as we saw with the Sadhguru incident).
I think the salary ranking is is misleading as some NLUs did not participate and BHU/AMU gave fake figures.

This is not you investing in a company, brah! At 22/ 23 if this is what your mindset is - no one, NO ONE, can help you. Come to the real world where there is no campus, no college and only work.
Also, corporate law is a very small world and mostly repetitive. A CA is better at structuring because she/he knows tax, a CS is way better because she/he knows Companies Act (I have seen you'll fighting here, for God knows what supremacy, not knowing the basics of Contracts Act and Companies Act), a litigator is way better in interpreting an agreement, knowing procedural law and in arguments. What, even in the most complex structure, is left for you to do? Copy & paste without applying your mind and follow up for CPs and closings.
You know why corporate lawyers never become entrepreneurs? Because these are the guys who join law school to get a high paying job and not create one. Grow up, come out of the well and see the world - else, you will always work for others who joined a college/ profession with the aim to learn and not earn.
I have given one star because google doesn't allow me to give less than that.
It has produced some of the most dumbest students ever. Even students of primary schools would have more patriotism that these guys. They are producing anti nationals.
They want you to accept their opinions blindly.
Anti National University. Filled with urban naxals influenced young adults.
NALSAR should be changed to NAXALS University.
Anti - Nationals with 0 logic and brains
if u wish your child to be a good human being. . don't send him here. ..india doesn't need such crop or educated supid youth who don't have basic sense of morality. this university is failing to teach them these things.
This university is full of thickheads. Don't send your children here. Worst univ. ever. I will never hire a lawyer from Nalsar.
1. NLSIU: 4.7 stars out of 5
2. NLUJ: 4.6
3. NUJS, NLUD and GNLU: 4.5
4. NLIU: 4.4
5. NALSAR: 1.9 (downvoted by public for attacking Sadhguru).
All the National Law Schools have their pros and cons. Each one is doing well for themselves and improving every year. One should be happy that other law schools and colleges are improving and the field of law is getting better individuals from all colleges. But this does not mean that the top universities are not good anymore because others are getting better.
They still produce quality students. As far as rankings go, they can be thrown in a shithole because it doesn't matter. If a law student is good, then in today's world, having worked both in law firms and in-house, college may give you an advantage of only earning a first glance, but if the resume or interview does not impress, even if you're from NLS or NALSAR, you will be surpassed by a student who maybe from an unranked college for all that matters.
All law schools are reporting excellent numbers, students of all law schools are getting into top universities for Masters, earning jobs abroad, clearing US Bar exams and what not. And instead of appreciating what 'Indian' law students are achieving nationally and globally we assholes comes down to 'Oh shoot, India Today has ranked us blah and fucking blah'. Who the hell cares.
