Days after 20 students suffered from food poisoning at a fresher’s party on Gujarat National Law University campus, the varsity’s authority has imposed a temporary ban on outside food and preparation of nonvegetarian food in the canteen as a precautionary measure. Though several students are unhappy with the institute’s decision, they have been convinced that the measure is temporary.
The decision was made on the recommendation of the District Health Officer, registrar Jagadeesh Chandra T G told the Mirror.
A student told the Mirror that the measure was (hopefully) just temporary.
The cause of the food poisoning outbreak yesterday, has still not yet been pinpointed.

It will be useful to see exactly what was recommended by the health officer; on the basis of what; the integrity of the investigative process; and also whether the suggested measures had any clear connections with the findings.
For those who have seen Family Man, you know what I am suggesting.
