Wadia Ghandy lit partner Rahul Dwarkadas resigns

Wadia Ghandy litigation partner Rahul Dwarkadas has resigned from the firm yesterday, taking effect from 31 March 2015.

Joint managing partner Ashish Ahuja confirmed his departure, but declined to comment.

Dwarkadas was promoted to Wadia Ghandy’s partnership in April 2011.

Dwarkadas could not be reached for comment at the time of going to press.

How many partners are left at Wadia at this point? I wonder how the associates down there must be feeling! It has not a pretty picture at all since mid-2014.

While partner exits are reported, associate exits are not. Wadia is filled now only with freshers - 2 years away from being senior associates, the continuing partners and the few who will be made partner this year.

Same feeling prevailing in JurisCorp for the past five years. And close to same uncertain feeling among AMSS Mumbai associates since October since the news of the case being filed and hearing about developments in LI rather than from the firm management.

Current Count of Assoc+ SA + Partner is 62+ since Anand Shah left. Keep it going guys. Today 3 more Associates have confirmed that they are leaving. Ashish is a man with big heart.. people should ask him joint MP he will have more to say on this as it was his decision.
