Rao, Jha move to Trilegal now official

Further to our report last week, Trilegal has today voted to admit former partners of AZB & Partners, Ganesh Rao and Aditya Jha, as partners in its asset management and funds practice in Mumbai, growing its partnership to 44.

Trilegal runs an all-equity quasi lockstep partnership, and any new additions the partnership need to be cleared by a vote of the entire partnership.

According to Trilegal’s press release, Trilegal partner Nishant Parikh commented: “Both have developed a significant reputation advising fund sponsors and investors on fund formations and investment platforms across sectors and market stages. Their addition will help grow Trilegal’s asset management and funds practice as well as complement and enhance the firm’s corporate practice.”

Rao a graduate of NUJS Kolkata, while Jha is from NLSIU Bangalore.
