Trilegal has promoted two of its corporate lawyers - Ankush Goyal and Tejas Adiga - to its all-equity partnership, growing to 55 now.

Trilegal partner Yogesh Singh commented: “Both have been part of several high-stakes transactions and have contributed significantly to the success of our corporate practice.

“They have consistently shown leadership skills with the backing and confidence of internal and external stakeholders.”

Ankush Goyal had joined Trilegal in 2015, a few years after graduating from GNLU Gandhinagar in 2011. He is based in Gurgaon and specialises in strategic M&A and joint ventures, both for investors and target companies on private equity deals.

He has also been working in the distressed assets space, and has advised on regulatory and structuring of investments and exits.

Tejas Adiga is based in Mumbai and is a 2010 ILS Pune graduate, who had joined Trilegal in 2017 from Talwar Thakore & Associates, before which he had been at Desai & Diwanji.

He practices in M&A, joint ventures, stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures of business divisions and corporate restructuring, according to Trilegal’s statement, and also works on corporate governance and other regulatory matters.
