The Law Point (TLP), a Mumbai-headquartered firm founded in 2006, has promoted its only two associate partners to partner, according to a press release.
The two new partners are:
Mumbai-based Omprakash Jha, specialising in projects and infrastructure (particularly ports) and
Delhi-based Abhishek Puri, who primarily practises litigation in the apex and high courts.
The promotions follow the hire of Shekhar Agrawal, the former head legal and executive director corporate affairs at Bharat Petroleum Corporation.
In January of 2020 he had joined the firm as an advisor, but as of 1 April he was formally appointed as practice head for TLP’s oil and gas practice.
TLP had been founded in 2006 by Dr Poornima Advani, the former chairperson of the National Commission for Women, and retired ias officer BN Makhija.
The Law Point (TLP) has a total of 21 fee-earners, including 5 partners and 2 team leaders.
