PR, BD manager Rahul Gossain moves to CAM from SAM

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) corporate communications senior manager, Rahul Gossain, has joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) as its Delhi-based national marketing communications head.

He will be reporting to Mumbai-based deputy director corporate communications Madhumita Paul, and will be handling national communications as well as driving business development (BD) in the NCR region.

He was responsible for media engagement, external outreach, digital activities and supporting partners on BD initiatives at SAM.

Before joining Shardul Amarchand in 2015, Gossain had been working in a corporate brand management and a digital lead role at Max India for five years.

The 2001 marketing graduate from Delhi University’s Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, had begun his career at the PR firm Perfect Relations in 2001, followed by stints at PR firm Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in Delhi, account manager at PR firm WPP, in-house corporate brand development manager at the Essel Group, and time as a communications consultant at 20:20 MSL in Delhi.

At SAM he had been reporting to corporate communications director Vimarsh Bajpai, who continues heading up the function.

Editor’s note: We have not previously covered moves in the law firm communications space but have received requests from readers to do so in the past, so we’re testing the waters. Do let us know if we should continue to report such moves in future.
