Platinum seems to be in the midst of an overhaul - from what i hear, the post-nihar platinum is very different - they still have quality tier 1 clients and excellent lawyers trained to handle complex deals (specially for foreign clients), but now seem to have been dumped with tier 2 work as well (thanks to change in management). Ankit is a good lawyer but his way of managing a firm is very different (mostly for the worse) and his clients are mostly tier 2- i hear they are serviced mostly out of bangalore but i guess its only a matter of time all offices are flooded with such work. i know some people in the firm who used to speak highly of the place. Hope things change for the better. Best to sunandan - i hear he's one of the better ones - specially compared to some other junior partners at the firm.
