Yes because the quality has dropped drastically. Which half decent transactions do they work on? Most of their lawyer's have attitude as if they might be from Trilegal. Even the pay is very very low. Don't know why are we discussing the firm. It died 5-6 years back. Nice to know that they have actually realised that corporate is not their cup of tea and decided to venture into other practice areas.
Phoenix pays INR 1 lac PM to freshers. Does that sound like a firm that isn’t doing well? Most Partners also make way higher than Tier 1 firms. Even during pandemic they not only gave full bonuses but also increments across the board. Venturing into other practice areas is a sign of growth. By the way, were you thrown out of Phoenix for quality issues?
Not 1 lac. I think 85k PM to freshers. 90lac to 1cr annually to salaried partners. Equity partners make a lot more. Not a Tier 1 but Phoenix is definitely one of the most modern and a professional firm structure which is comparable to Trilegal (not in size), SNR, Platinum. No comments on Legasis.
