Parinam Law Associates has grown to 12 partners nationally, after hiring its second partner in Delhi, Swarupama Chaturvedi, who is joining with six associates on the firm’s first anniversary of founding.

This move from independent counsel practice to Parinam, grows its Delhi office to a total of 13 fee-earners, including the two partners.

She is based in Delhi alongside the firm’s existing partner in the city Malvika Kalra, according to Parinam’s managing partner Hitesh Jain. Chaturvedi was a “solid lawyer” and advocate-on-record (AOR), he added.

The 1999 Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University LLB has worked as an advocate at the Supreme Court of India since 2000 (see full profile).

She has also been assistant professor of law at NLSIU Bangalore between 2006 and 2012, and assistant lecturer at HNLU Raipur in 2006.

Jain said that Chaturvedi had also been one of the lead counsel for Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, the trust overseeing the construction of a temple in Ayodhya, alongside senior counsel K Parasaran, who also acted for the Ram Lalla Virajman deity and legal person in the Ayodhya title suit.

Parinam Law Associates now has a total of 12 partners, making a total of 80 fee-earners in its three offices in Mumbai, Pune and Delhi.
