Magnah Law started in Bangalore by Khaitan partner Nalini Mayegowda + 3 from Tatva

Khaitan & Co Bangalore partner Nalina Mayegowda, who had left in late March, and Tatva Legal partners Raghunath Ananthapur, R Vasudev, and Raghavi BS have together set up new Bangalore-based firm Magnah Law Partners, reported Bar & Bench.

According to a statement given by the partners to Bar & Bench: “It often begins with an urge to contribute more and be able to do so with greater freedom and flexibility. As individuals, each of us intended to contribute more and channelize our capabilities in our respective practice areas. Interaction and discussion with like-minded people culminated in the decision to pursue this thought collectively.

“With each of the partners of the firm being in this profession for over 15 years, we identified the need for a full-service law firm; one that can leverage on our diverse experience and collective expertise to ensure effective solutions and services to meet clients’ requirements in the best possible manner. With diverse capabilities and shared values, the Firm is a manifesto to our passion and expertise.”

Mayegowda is a litigator, while Ananthapur specialises in corporate, and Raghavi BS and Vasudev advise on real estate matters.

Ananthapur had been promoted in 2014.

Raghavi BS was part of Vasudev’s team at Tatva.

Tatva partner Dilip NK wished them well according to Bar & Bench.
