Link Legal India Law Services has promoted salaried partner and NLIU Bhopal 2006 alumnus Siddharth Srivastava into equity, increasing its equity partnership to nine partners.

The former Luthra & Luthra managing associate who joined the firm in 2015 as a partner in its banking and finance practice, had set up the firm’s insolvency practice under the new Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, according to the press release.

He advises banks, financial institutions and borrowers on domestic and foreign currency financing transactions including debt syndication, debt restructuring, securitisation matters, non-convertible debenture issues, derivatives and trade finance transactions, and advises lenders and resolution professionals on insolvency matters including RBI references in the first and second list of corporate defaulters for initiation of insolvency proceedings. His team also advises on banking regulatory aspects.

Managing partner Atul Sharma and co-managing partner Nusrat Hassan jointly commented in the release: “As a firm, we believe in providing a strong growth platform to talented colleagues to make a name for themselves. We are happy to see Siddharth moving in this direction and wish him all the very best in his new role.”

Link Legal India Law Services now has 25 salaried partners and 155 lawyers including the 34 salaried and equity partners.
