Link Legal India Law Services has hired former Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas lawyer Vijay Sureka as a partner in its Mumbai-based corporate practice.
He is a 2002 University of Delhi law graduate, specialising in joint venture and M&A transactions, as well as working for banks & NBFCs in their loan transactions and schemes of mergers for various companies.
He has worked with companies in manufacturing, infrastructure, IT, hospitality, and education, according to Link Legal.
Managing partner Atul Sharma and co-managing partner Nusrat Hassan wished him all the very best in a statement.

Seems like a great firm to join.
So much talent has already left. So many talent is on its way out.
Just look at the lawyer rankings from any of the last 2-3 years. Most of their ranked lawyers have left because of their inability to retain a decent team. Thanks to LL policies. Except for those who are on the verge of being promoted, nobody sticks around for long.
If they are changing their outlook, good for them. But it is unlikely to happen as long as power is concentrated in the hands of the A.S.s

But LL matching Tier I salaries is a joke, because they don't have Tier I's clients!
He is a nice guy and a very good pick for Link - cant say the other-way round though for the firm and its owners...;)
