Wadia Ghandy homegrown partner Swapnil Khatri has joined IndusLaw as partner in Mumbai in its disputes practice.
A Symbiosis Pune 2008 alumnus, Khatri was promoted to partner by Wadia where she started her career, in the firm’s 2015 round. She was part of the firm’s dispute resolution practice in Mumbai.
Khatri’s experience includes litigation and dispute resolution in corporate disputes, winding up proceedings, shareholder disputes, commercial litigation, private equity investments, recovery proceedings, constitutional litigation, partnership disputes, intellectual property disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, real estate litigation and criminal litigation, according to Indus’ press release.
Indus disputes practice head Srinivasa Raghavan commented in the release: “It has been the firm’s goal to have a strong and competent litigation team across offices. Getting Swapnil on board will significantly enhance the firm’s existing dispute resolution & litigation capability, in Mumbai.”

Bangalore made three new partners:
- ULC Bangalore 2006 alumnus and principal associate Namita Viswanath who has been with the firm since October 2014 in its TMT practice,
- HNLU Raipur 2008 alumnus and senior associate Basava Rao who has been with the firm since June 2012 in its corporate practice
- Symbiosis Pune 2007 alumnus Anindya Ghosh who has been with the firm since August 2012 in its corporate practice
