Fox Mandal makes two partners in Delhi

Fox Mandal promoted two new partners in Delhi effective 1 July, reported legal website Bar & Bench.

Corporate litigation and dispute resolution chief associate Veronica Mohan, who joined the firm in December 2010, was promoted to the partnership. She graduated from ILS Pune in 1996. General corporate, M&A and private equity chief associate Jyoti Virmani who joined the firm in 2007 was also elevated to partner. She enrolled at the bar in 2003.

Being promoted to Partner at FM & Co. is being promoted in a fools paradise (For lack of any better options..!!). No regular payments made yet (only one lumpsum) in the last few months.No proper corporate transactions either.Its like having a nice office and nothing to do... and with NO pay! The only deserving Partner left there is Swati in the litigation team.I agree with Insider and Vakil Babu. Anyways,I wish them all the luck!

Not all Partners are failures, Fox had some of the best Partners but Som Mandal greed drove all good people away. The failure is the current lot and Partner now in LKM

I completely agree with the above views, FoxMandal was a good firm with good teams of lawyers and people. Pity to see it fall apart....
