Heartening news. Law firms are nothing but a sum of the individuals working there and what an amazing bunch of people this is. Very smart and hard-working. Great going!

"Sharmistha Ghosh joined F&M in 2005 as an intern and thereafter as an Associate in 2009."
The last firm I interned with before landing a job, a popular intl tax firm as per the HR and others laid great emphasis on hiring the right intern. I asked them how many interns had actually reached partnership and somebody said none. Well primarily beause the firm was a sole propertiorship and even though some of the people there used partner as a title, all of them were nothing but employees (albeit higher paid).

That HR will give all this gyaan about how they are looking for "right" kind of interns and will not even reply to your mails for 10 days. Hope the father figure of the firm is paying equal attention to the efficiency of the HR department.

Lots of people don't even get out of bed for less than a crore. Search for Linda Evangelista.
