Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Delhi-based corporate partner Harsh Kumar has resigned, Bar & Bench has first reported, noting that he is “likely to join another top law firm”.
The NUJS Kolkata 2005 graduate had begun his career at then-Amarchand Mangaldas, moved to what-was-then Herbert Smith in London for 1 year in 2007, returned to India with AZB for a year, before joining Khaitan & Co in 2009, where he was promoted to associate partner in 2014.
In 2015, he was hired from Khaitan, for Cyril Amarchand’s new Delhi office.
CAM managing partner Cyril Shroff confirmed his departure and told us he wished him “the very best”.
Kumar did not respond to requests for comment.

ANY chance of you looking more into this:

Suggest you follow Reuteurs lead and do a follow up story on the CAM PNB saga.
Interesting point made by CBI that no privelege applies as CAM was not the attorney of NM at the time!
Will also be an interesting case to see whether rule of law applies to the high and mighty (must not forget Cyril’s connection with Adani).
See this! CAM’s ship got a huge attack!
This requires much more digging through your “very reliable” sources - people need to know the truth of their unethical practices! Rumour has it that the CAM senior partners are furiously downloading the Telegram app.. daal toh zaroor kaali hai!!
It continues to be an interesting story, but in my opinion, Reuters overplayed its scoop slightly...
