Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has re-hired Rutu Gandhi as a partner in its financial regulatory practice (FRP) in Mumbai.
She had been with the firm since 2011 post-graduation from GNLU Gandhinagar but in December 2020 left as a principal associate and had briefly joined joined Trilegal as counsel.
She advises on financial services regulation, regulatory representations and internal investigations, ongoing compliances and enforcement, according to a CAM press release, which added:
Rutu has extensive experience in advising domestic and global financial institutions and entities on a host of regulatory and securities law matters such as licensing and registration, governance, insider trading and market manipulation, internal controls and risk assessment. She also focuses on securities law enforcement and market conduct.

She has exceptional skills and has impressive professional credentials.” After completing graduation from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, Rutu had joined erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co., Mumbai office in August, 2011 and was with the Firm till December, 2020.

Congrats once again.
Anyway, I hear that there has been a mass exodus (of junior and senior level resources) in the past year or so (not just from the FRP team). Hope she spoke to someone before making the move because there clearly seems to be a problem at CAM.
But interesting that you agree that CAM is bigger than TL
