AZB & Partners in Mumbai has promoted Vaidhyanadhan Iyer to its partnership.

Iyer said that he specialises in M&A, private equity and financing work said that he was “thrilled” about the opportunities presented by becoming partner.

Iyer qualified as a company secretary in 2003 and completed his LLB from the University of Mumbai’s Law College Thane in 2006.

After a year in Siemens’ company secretarial and legal team, he joined Nishith Desai Associates from 2007 to 2011, before moving to AZB.

AZB CEO Abhijit Joshi commented: “He’s a great lawyer and person, well deserving of partnership.”
