Algo Legal has laterally added another partner, Abhinav Bhalaik from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas - alongside Nishith Desai Associates' Richie Sancheti.

Bhalaik, a 2009 NLU Jodhpur graduate, specialises in corporate, M&A, restructuring and private equity.

He had spent the first even years of his career at Platinum Partners before joining Shardul Amarchand in 2017 as a partner.

In a press release, he said: “I look forward to working with everyone at Algo to further strengthen the corporate, mergers & acquisitions and private equity practice of the firm, along with a strong focus on client servicing, technology and innovation.”
