Trilegal has recruited seven final-year students from National Law University (NLU) Jodhpur, almost filling up its fresher quota for the year.

After visiting Jodhpur's campus last week, Trilegal has recruited three students for its Delhi office, three for Mumbai and one for Bangalore.

One of these students was offered a place after being an intern on the firm's internship programme.

Trilegal partner Nishant Parikh said: "For us it works a lot based on the experience we had with interns and this year we received good interns from Jodhpur and Kolkata

This follows Trilegal hiring seven students from National University of Juridicial Sciences Kolkata (NUJS) in July.

"The number of choices is too large today to try and land up in every campus – we do a good amount of selection and thinking depending on the CVs we receive on where we land up going," explained Parikh.

He added that further direct campus recruitment would most likely be limited: "For the next year a significant part of our requirements have already been taken care of. We might take a decision to look only at interns now."
