Delhi law firm R&A Legal has now opened an office in Kolkata. The Kolkata office will be headed by R&A principal associate Samik Chatterjee.

Samik practises litigation. He graduated from Symbiosis Pune in 2008 and had stints with legal process outsourcing company Quislex, the in house legal department of the Future Group and DP Ahuja & Co until March 2015 after which he was an independent consultant.

R&A specialises in the infrastructure, civil aviation, banking and finance and corporate practices, according to its press release.

R&A managing partner Rajiv Sankar Roy commented in the release: “We are extremely delighted to open another office in Kolkata, and increase our growth opportunities. We are happy that at this juncture it is an opportunity to cater to the legal requirements of the eastern India through our Kolkata office. With optimism, we look forward to the success of our new office in Kolkata.”

Chatterjee added in the release: “I am extremely delighted to be associated with R&A Legal. We will address legal and corporate advisories for the eastern region from Kolkata office. There is a growing demand that we observe from the region.”
