Link Legal India Law Services partner Shubha Karra has joined Aditya Birla Management Corporation as general manager in its corporate legal cell.
The 2006 Nalsar Hyderabad graduate had joined Link Legal in July 2016 from Argus Partners, where she had been a non-equity partner.
Karra had begun her career at Luthra & Luthra, joined Amarchand Mangaldas, as it then was, in 2007, followed by Wipro in 2009 and Argus in 2012.
She specialises in private equity, M&A, corporate and project finance work.
Karra confirmed her joining Aditya Birla but declined to comment further.
Link Legal confirmed her departure when contacted for comment.
Aditya Birla Management is the Aditya Birla conglomerate’s parent company.
Its corporate legal cell at the group and was founded in 1998, and even has a profile page on the Aditya Birla website, stating:

Aditya Birla Management’s corporate legal cell is headed Ashok Gupta, head of corporate legal, who had joined in 2010 from Hindustan Unilever.

CAM giving cash to GNLU is actually quite interesting, you're right - do you know how much they gave and any more details of what the chair entails?
I am asking the admin, but they are unlikely to respond to confirm (which is also incidentally part of the reason that we don't often run 'positive' stories about GNLU, because they simply don't respond when we follow up on their press releases to get more detail).
