Delhi based firm International Law Affiliates has promoted a senior associate to the associate partner level in its commercial and corporate practice team.

Simona Singh joined International Law Affiliates in 2004 as a senior associate from Delhi-based Bhasin & Co. She completed her LLB in 1997.

She said: "An advocate is an advocate first and the designation comes secondary."

Managing partner Amir Singh Pasrich commented: "The elevation of Simona Singh is in recognition of her hard work and dedication. She mainly handles property related transactions besides other commercial practices of the firm.

Pasrich explained that the firm currently had eleven associates and four partners in Delhi with another partner due to get made up shortly.

International Law Affiliates' practice is based on a mix of domestic and international clients in the transactional space, with Pasrich & Company handling the litigation work.

It was started by Pasrich from J.B. Dadachanji & Co and another lawyer in 1998.

The firm has affiliate offices with D.H. Law in Mumbai and Bangalore.
