Economic Laws Practice (ELP) has promoted two senior associates to associate partner level: both Rajat Chhabra and Vivek Bajaj are based in Pune in the tax practice.

The firm has also promoted 12 from associate manager to senior associate (of whom all are based in Mumbai, except one in the Delhi tax team): Ambarish Sathianathan, Amruta Kelkar, Hardik Choksi, Mrugank Kamdar, Okram Singha, Preeti Sukthanker, Rahul Khurana, Rhia Marshall, Stella Joseph, Sweta Rajan, Tejus Golchha and Vidushi Maheshwari.

The tax team saw six new senior associates, with litigation and international trade each seeing two new senior associates.

Eight associates were elevated to associate manager level, of whom four were in the tax practice.

Managing partner Rohan Shah commented in a press release: "We deeply value the contributions of each of these professionals and wish them the very best for their new roles."
