DSK co-founding member Raksha Kothari leaves amicably

DSK Legal Mumbai senior partner and co-founding member of 14 years, Raksha Kothari, has resigned.

Kothari was part of the founder members of DSK Legal when it was started up in 2001 as a best friend firm of international accountant-consultants Arthur Andersen, and became a partner in 2004. She specialises in corporate and M&A work.

She said: “It’s all amicable, I just wanted to try something different.”

She said she would take several months of time off before deciding on her next move.

DSK partner Anand Desai commented: “We respect her decision and our best wishes are with her.”

She began her career in 1989 at Dhruve Liladhar & Co in Mumbai after graduating from GLC Mumbai, moving to Shah Desai Dojiode and Phatarkphekar in 1997.
