For some reason yours and other comments hadn't been published though, but they're now (obviously) up :)
Long live cam projects :) :)
Some of the most deserving in the list of 30! Good luck to both.
patience pays. happy padwa!
Different practice areas and cities gives well rounded exposure, and clients value that.
best wishes Manita, go GNLU!!
Having diverse team and senior experience is the hallmark of legal depth and exposes one to multiple clients ...and builds legal skills.
If you can keep your jealousy aside, you'd know she is definitely the most deserving person, hardworking, ethical, loyal to the firm and you cant question her talent....
Well deserved manita... Batch of 2009 is as always proud!
great bench strenght, cam competition watch out.
For argument's sake, CAM has had 2 years, so did you mean this was more profitable than last (given last year's settlement and resulting 'profits')? Saw the books? :) ...child, "who wants facts anyway"!
And come on Kian, you can't censor this one, appreciate the logic :) :)
Any more lateral partners joining? market buzz
Ek chutki partnership ka value tum kya jano
But seriously hope clients give work to CAM.
100 was a psychological barrier for Cyril and vcs, who cares if Tata companies are profitable? they are the biggest and offer lifelong careers so shareholder value increases, not greedy quick returns! only socialism is sustainable, ensures work life balance.
Kudos to css-vcs for single handedly (despite amss split), meeting the 100/1000 target in 100th year, in only CAM's 2nd year (even without SAM numbers)! best wishes for many more milestones to come.
With Risabh and sir there will be no end to more work coming in, everyone will be kept busy, give it a year more.
cam promotions are to serve clients, so in your interest if CAM has deep partner bench as departures will not affect execution.
It seems relentless work over last one year at Delhi office is really helping all the right causes. Bravo man!
I am a partner, you are a partner, everyone is a partner!
Bwaahaha
We see mature and home grown names like Manu, Ashish Jain, Spandan who have seen the profession for over 11-12 years, and done their time in the trenches to be ready for the new role responsibility. Far more well rounded and experienced partners than some of the partners made by CAM competition.
good luck guys!
However - What befuddles is the oxymoron in the Press Release itself. Unless the talent in the ‘talent first’ was actually waiting for the 100th year and the mighty 21 presented themselves magically just now. Firm strategy and elevation should be based on data, not dogma or PR stints. Partner tag is valued anywhere else in the world but is becoming a fad or appeasement or retention (or as we see it here, PR) stint / tool in India. A sight of lesser associate floor space and more partner cabins (as was the case apparently in another firm) should be a troubling sign.
No offence to these 21, who look like a solid bunch. Whether they earn partner salaries or relegate back same time this year to PA (or lower) salaries, time will tell. Bests to each of them.
2 from the team, I think, joined Shardul Amarchand, the others dispersed elsewhere...
Standalone BF teams at most firms handle loan transactions and that kind of stuff.
.... meanwhile SAM gets law firm of the year award at Chambers and Partner for 2017!
I work in a mid size law firm but still clueless about these figures.
