Bharti Airtel director legal Sameer Chugh has been promoted to group general counsel at the Bharti Group, as first reported by Legal Era.

According to Bar & Bench, Chugh is taking over the job from Bharti long-timer Mukesh Bhavnani, who is becoming advisor to the Bharti Group.

Bharti Enterprises director legal Vidyut Gulati is taking over as director legal at Bharti Airtel, according to B&B. The former Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas partner had joined from Cairn India, where she was GC, in 2017.
