NLSIU Bangalore graduate Nandini Navale has joined Singapore-based 2016-founded private equity-backed start-up Ecosystm, as its first in-house lawyer and general counsel (GC) last month.

Navale had begun working in the legal department of a financial institution in 1995, followed by four years at a law firm in 2000, and legal counsel at a US telecoms company from 2004 to 2005.

From 2013 to 2019 she was counsel and compliance officer for the private equity fund Capital Square Partners, in Singapore.

She is also a certified compliance professional, and, according to a company statement, “beyond her Ecosystm role, Nandini is active in the booming PE-VC funds spectrum in Singapore as an advisor to funds on licensing, fund formation, operations and portfolio management as well as to emerging companies on business strategy and operations”.

“She is also on the board of a logistics solution provider based out of Singapore,” added the statement.

Ecosystm is a technology research and advisory firm, with offices in India and Australia, seeking to link tech buyers, vendors and analysts into an integrated platform.

According to a company statement, it is looking to also expand to the US and New Zealand.
