Mumbai-based India legal head of payments provider Ingenico Group, Tushar Tarun, is joining online payments start-up Razorpay as its director legal.
He will be heading up a team of around five.
Tarun had worked at Indian Oil in 2010 after graduating from NLSIU Bangalore, followed by time at Sarthak & Advocates in Delhi, ICICI Bank in Mumbai, and the Ingenico Group in Mumbai.
French payments conglomerate Ingenico had bought one of the earliest and largest Indian payments portals, EBS, in 2011.
Tarun is succeeding Manjunath Ambale in the top legal role at Razorpay; Ambale had left the company earlier this month.
