Legally India seeks nominations to find India’s sexiest lawyer (of all genders!) [UPDATE-2: APRIL FOOL]

Sexy lawyers: Wanted
Sexy lawyers: Wanted

In a bid to prove that lawyers are not just smart, but also good looking, Legally India is pleased to announced that we’ll be seeking nominations for our new annual India’s sexiest lawyer competition.

Please send nominations to with a picture of your nominee (must be in professional work clothes, gown preferred), name, employment, location, year of qualification and law school.

You can also make nominations in the comments below, though they may be subject to moderation.

Nominations must be received by 1 May 2016 and must be of a qualified lawyer who has passed the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) or is permitted to practice law in an Indian court of law, Indian law firm or Indian company.

Lawyers practising in foreign law firms are not allowed to enter, in accordance with local regulations under the Advocates Act.

Since Legally India is all about equal opportunities, we are looking for candidates from any gender.

The judging panel will consist of 5 members selected from the Bar Council of India (BCI) and state bar councils.

Their decision will be final and entrants waive all rights of challenge, appeal or intellectual property.

The top 3 awardees will win a professional photoshoot and will have their photos published on Legally India, with a felicitation at the next Legally Social.

Update: After feedback, we have opened the competition to lawyers of all genders, not just male and female. Apologies for the initial omission.

Update 2 - 1 April, Noon: Happy April Fool Day everyone. Thanks for everyone who played and sent us emails with suggestions.
