Legally Social is back with a bang in Delhi again after last year's popular series of exclusive invite-only legal networking drinks in Mumbai and Delhi (and a small one in Singapore).
To celebrate being a lawyer and managing to stay social, please gather on Thursday, March 21st, 2013 any time between 7:30 PM and 12:30 AM at the beautiful OTB (Out of the Box) at Hauz Khas Village on the terrace (4th floor).
It'll be a memorable night with a mix of interesting lawyers from firms, companies and courts, as well as Team Legally India out on their night off.
We have also negotiated fantastic discounts for Legally Socialites: all night long happy hours on domestic liquors at buy-one-get-one-free; 20% off on food; 20% off on wine (domestic and imported) and 30% off on imported liquor.
If this is your first Legally Social, don't fret, it's all very simple:
- The first rule of Legally Social is: Everyone is equal at Legally Social. Please address each other by first names if possible.
- Second rule: Leave allegiances and competition at the door.
- Third rule: What happens at Legally Social stays at Legally Social - Chatham House Rule applies for all.
Spaces are limited and we need to give OTB a good idea of numbers, so there is a token reservation fee.
Tickets are only Rs 450, with 20% off for +1 and bulk bookings.
If you are a currently practising lawyer, in-house, in courts or law firms, please register at the following page, where you can also pay securely by card, netbanking, cheque, etc:
It’s all very easy, takes only 2 minutes, and 15% of proceeds go to the amazing Pratham Books, which aims to put a book into the hand of every child (more below), so please pass this on to your friends and colleagues.
If you have any questions, please let us know in the comments.
We look forward to seeing you there,
Team LI
15% of Legally Social proceeds go to Pratham Books, a Bangalore-based not-for-profit publisher whose awe-inspiring mission is to put a book into every child's hand. Former lawyer Gautam John (tweeting at @gkjohn) is part of Pratham Books advisory board.
Please visit http://prathambooks.org/ for more information:
“Till date, Pratham Books has published over 215 titles in English and 10 other Indian languages. That's over 1500 books, most of which are priced below Rs 25. We have printed over 8.5 million books, over 10 million story cards and have a readership of nearly 25 million. Our vision is to reach 200 million children in India, and we hope to someday put 'a book in every child's hand'.”

Any suggestions or ideas? We could do one in April...
Thanks
Kian
Second rule: Leave allegiances and competition at the door.
Third rule: What happens at Legally Social stays at Legally Social - Chatham House Rule applies for all."
The 4th Rule:
Either hire a taxi or bring a teetotaller driver with you. We don't want your name to figure in Delhi road death statistics!
Please keep safe.
If you don't already have a +1 ticket for your date (which will be on the guestlist under your name at the door), please note the following:
Friends or dates who want to also come, or if you want to book any extras, can continue booking until late at night (at legallydelhi.ayojak.com/ ) and can get in with a printed ticket. We may also update the guestlist a few times over the course of the night and have a system in place.
Otherwise, limited tickets will also be available for Rs 500 at the door, though admission is not guaranteed and will depend on total capacity.
Look forward to seeing you (and your date) tonight! :)
Cheers
Kian
