Bithika Anand's Rainmaker Consulting goes independent as Legal League Consulting

Former Amarchand Mangaldas chief operations officer Bithika Anand and her team parted ways last week from legal industry services provider Rainmaker, eight months after both jointly started up Rainmaker Consulting.

Anand and nine Rainmaker Consulting staff will rebrand as Legal League Consulting and have taken a new office in Delhi's Hauz Khas Village.

In a statement Legal League Consulting wrote last week: "We are pleased to inform that we are now an independent business entity and will be operating under our new brand name, Legal League Consulting (LLC). We are no longer associated with Rainmaker/ Rainmaker Consulting. We will continue to offer management consulting to the legal industry under our new brand.

"All members of the present consulting team and specialists-on-call, including Mr. Nick Jarrett-Kerr will be part of the new business formation. Our existing clients and vendors have consented to align with LLC, and will move with the new entity, thereby ensuring business continuity."

A statement from Rainmaker read: "Bithika Anand and Rainmaker have decided to end their partnership for Rainmaker Consulting and approach the consulting market independently moving forward. Bithika (and her team moving from Rainmaker Consulting) will continue to provide a broad spectrum of consulting services to the legal industry as well as other clients. Rainmaker Consulting will continue to remain active on the strategic advisory side for the corporate legal and education market. Both Rainmaker and Bithika are parting on good terms and will continue to work with each other when suitable opportunities arise."
