Indiabulls Ventures Ltd, the financial services arm of the Indiabulls Group, approved raising Rs 2,000 crore (USD 305 million) either through rights issue of shares, to meet the funding requirements and to support future growth of consumer finance and assets reconstruction businesses carried out by the Company, through its subsidiary companies, as reported by The Economic Times and Livemint
AZB & Partners acted as the legal counsel to Axis Capital, the lead manager to the deal, led by partners Varoon Chandra and Lionel D’Almeida and senior associate Richa Choudhary, according to a press release of AZB.
Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas partner Kaushik Mukherjee and principal associate Narayan Kedia acted for Indiabulls.
Squire Patton Boggs Singapore partner Biswajit Chatterjee acted as international adviser to Axis Capital.
