The next All India Bar Exam (AIBE) 16 that was optimistically scheduled for 25 April, has been postponed indefinitely.
The replacement date would be “intimated soon” according to a notification on the official website.
As we had predicted only last month, the revised AIBE XVI schedule was rather “ambitious (and unlikely)“, after it had already seen one postponment from 21 March to 25 April 2021.
The 16th exam also caused some surprise in announcing at short notice that it would ban anything but unannotated bare acts in the exam halls.
It also followed only a few months after the 24 January 2021 bar exam.
And that is the silver lining: the exam results for that 15th AIBE at least, are now available on the official website, according to the BCI.
