Wow, such a lot of queries. I will follow the protocol of previous posters by starting with a self intro
I joined MBL in 2012-14 just for the brand name of NLSIU [I am a degree freak, as I have secured distance education masters degrees in law from Annamalai University, business management from KSOU-Mysore, Vaishnavism from Madras University. Apart from the LLM, MBA & MA (Vaishnavism), my under graduation courses include BSc, LLB and BA (Vaishnavism)]
Why MBL?
I have copied the FAQ's of MBL on my website http://thirunarayan.com/Law/Links.html and also created a face book page http://www.facebook.com/ThemisDivineLaw. As seen from the FAQ, MBL has more wide content than any LLB or LLM. Just see the content :(1) Contract Law,(2) Law relating to Banking and Financial Institutions (3) Corporate Laws (4) Industrial Relations Law (5) Environmental Law and Policy from the first year are normally covered in all professional courses (LLB, LLM, CS, CA). The second year courses (1) Investment Laws (2) Law of Insurance (3) Law relating to Foreign Trade and Commercial Transactions (4) Intellectual Property Law (5) Taxation of Corporations and Commodities are purely corporate subjects essential for entrepreneurs. I have not come across any other degree offering taxation of commodities/corporations or Foreign trade transactions, both of which are fraught with legal pit holes.
Previous year questions papers are attached to this message (all downloaded from my website:
Does getting a M.B.L. degree from NLSIU Bangalore qualify one for UGC/NET SET exam?
