JSA advises PMRDA on $1.2bn Pune Metro Line project connecting IT hub Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar

“The Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar metro route on Wednesday received a major push after the Pune metropolitan region development authority (PMRDA), which is executing the project, awarded the contract for this Pune route to a joint venture of Tata Realty Infra and Siemens.” reported The Hindustan Times. HT also reported that the metro route will be developed on design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis with the estimated cost of the project to be around Rs 8313 crores (around $1.2 billion). It would also be the first metro rail project being developed under the Metro Rail Policy of 2017.

J Sagar Associates (JSA) advised and assisted Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority on various legal issues pertaining to the project led by partners Venkatesh Raman Prasad and Vishnu Sudarsan, along with Ashish Suman, principal associate Shashank Vikram Singh, senior associate G.S.
