Ashurst Hong Kong, IPN Chennai team up again on $737m Korean car part makers’ investment MOU in AP

“Sixteen Korean automobile ancillaries exchanged Memorandum of Understandings with the government of Andhra Pradesh on Monday, bringing in a total investment of $737m and committing employment to 6,583 people,” reported Business Standard. The Honorable Chief Minister was proactively engaged in the project site selection, planning the site leveling to evolving the state support package for the project investment.

Chennai-based IPN Associates assisted The South Korea’s Vendors Consortium with head of the project development practice and managing partner TM Kumar and designate partners Guru Prasath and Abhishek Kumar Pandey.

Ashurst Hongkong acted for The South Korea’s Vendors Consortium, led by head of Korea corporate practice and partner John Kim and corporate counsel Huiyeon Kim.

The Ashurst and IPN Associates team had last year also executed the $1.1bn investment MoU of Kia Motors with Government of Andhra Pradesh on April 27, 2017, which is amongst the biggest FDI project in recent times.
