Verist, Dua assist Mahindra logistics on $10m merger with rent-a-truck startup Porter

In a Rs 65 crore deal, Mahindra & Mahindra is investing into a new merged company that includes its own logistics platform, SmartShift, with the start-up Porter, which allows businesses and individuals to book and rent small trucks and tempos on demand via an app, as reported by TechCircle.

Verist Law partners Srishti Ojha and Suchita Ambadipudi, and associate Eshika Maji, acted for Porter.

Dua Associates acted for SmartShift.

Mahindra group legal in-house counsel Hoshedar Havewala led the transaction in-house.
