Vaish, JSA engineer $18.7m Hema autoparts maker buy of Haryana’s Omax Autos

“Hema Engineering Industries Limited, an automotive parts manufacturing company, has successfully acquired two automotive manufacturing units of Omax Autos Limited, located at Haryana, on asset purchase basis, for an aggregate consideration of INR 130 crores. Hema, as a series of expanding its business operations, will carry-out manufacturing and selling of automotive parts for two-wheeler automobiles from the said units,” according to Vaish Associates’ press release.

Vaish Associates Advocates advised Hema Engineering Industries Limited led by a team of partner Satwinder Singh at Vaish associates Advocates with his team consisting of principal associate V Vasudev and associate Aditya Khandewal, represented and advised Hema on all aspects of the deal related to the transaction, which involves due diligence, structuring, drafting, negotiation and smooth closure of the transaction.

J Sagar Associates (JSA) was advising Omax Autos Limited led by partner Sidharrth Shankar, partner Shantanu Jindel and senior associate Hema Priyadarshini Patnaik.

Vaish client Hema was set up in 1984 and is a leading original equipment manufacturer for major two wheeler and four wheeler manufacturing giants of the country. Omax, a public listed company set up in 1983, specialises in sheet metal components, tabular components and machined components.
