TT&A acts on India leg of Sydney’s Ceridian HR buy of Ascender with Minter Ellison

Ceridian’s (a global leader in human capital management (HCM) technology) acquisition of Ascender, a leading payroll and HR solutions provider in Asia Pacific Japan (APJ), according to a company press release.

TT&A (Talwar Thakore & Associates) advised Ascender, which is backed by a private equity consortium led by Potentia Capital and 5V Capital, which acquired the company in 2015. The firm fielded a team led by partner Feroz Dubash, with associates Nida Bagadia and Sonna Subbaiah.

Also advising was Minter Ellison as advisors for Ceridian.

Australian firm Gilbert + Tobin acted for Ascender.


The primary jurisdiction of the deal was Australia but more than 10 per cent of the deal value or assets concerned India.
