Touchstone, Khaitan acts on $1bn Reliance JV with BP Mobility

Reliance BP Mobility Limited (RBML), the fuels and mobility joint venture of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and bp plc has started operations, aiming to expand the fuel retailing network to up to 5,500 sites in five years from over 1,400, under the Jio-bp brand.

Reliance Industries and BP India today announced the start of their new Indian fuels and mobility joint venture, Reliance BP Mobility Limited (RBML).

Touchstone Partners advised BP Mobility on the joint venture, led by a team of managing partner Karam Daulet Singh and partners Gaurav Desai and Anuj Bhatia, along with Yashita Sharma, Palak Chadha, Mohit Bhatia, Surbhi Soni, Punya Varma, Shruti Bhat and Apurva Badoni.
