Phoenix, Platinum, FF act on France’s Cooper Standard sale to Continental

Cooper-Standard France SAS divested Cooper Standard’s anti-vibration systems (AVS) business to ContiTech USA Inc (a division of Continental AG), which involved the transfer of Cooper-Standard France SAS’ equity interest in a joint venture company in India, according to the company’s press release.

Phoenix Legal advised Cooper-Standard France led by a team of partner Manjula Chawla, principal associate Kripi Kathuria, principal associate Chandni Chawla and senior associate Tushar Thimmiah.

Nexo Associations dAvocats was French local counsel to Cooper-Standard France SAS.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US office acted as counsel to ContiTech USA Inc.

Platinum Partners acted as Indian counsel to ContiTech USA.

Deal value: Total sale price of the transaction was approx. USD 265.5 million
