Link Legal, Crawford Bayley act on government’s $11.6m NPCC disinvestment to Wapcos

Wapcos Limited acquired the National Projects Construction Corporation Limited (“NPCC”), as aprt of the Government of India initiative to raise funds from strategic disinvestment through sale of government’s shareholding in CPSE’s, according to reports.

Link Legal India Law Services advised Wapcos Limited, a CPSE under the Ministry of Water Resources, River development and Ganga Rejuvenation, led by a team of The Link Legal Team comprised of partner Milind Jha, senior associate Sanya Haider and associate Pulkit Singh Rahangdale. The Link Legal team conducted due diligence and drafted a due diligence report on NPCC. The Link Legal team also assisted WAPCOS Limited in the process of execution of the share purchase agreement and obtaining approval from Competition Commission of India (CCI).

Crawford Bayley advised the Government of India and National Projects Construction Corporation Limited (NPCC).
