Khaitan & Co advised Mumbai-based real estate portal Housing.com $14.7m (Rs 100 crore) fundraising from Softbank which was advised by AZB & Partners.

Khaitan Mumbai senior partner Haigreve Khaitan, associate partner Vineet Singhal and senior associate Namrata Mehta acted for Housing.

AZB Bangalore partner Srinath Dasari acted for Softbank.

This round will prevent the out-of-cash Housing.com from winding up before its acquisition by Snapdeal, according to YourStory’s sources.

UPDATE 10 February 2016, 3pm: Housing.com has in an email statement commented as follows on Yourstory’s claim that Snapdeal is acquiring Housing: “This is completely untrue and inaccurate. We are in NO Talks with anybody for any sale”
